WHAT SINCE WHEN WAS HE THIS MUCH OF A CAR NERD!!?!;? It feels like this is coming out of left field. How on earth does he know all this!!;!!?
I'm losing it he keeps on saying stuff like "like this car is a jaguar e type gullwing 4760 with 4 exhaust" like what are you talking about. Can't keep up with all this car talk Conan

Ok the wine spilling on that guy's pants HAS to be important I refuse to believe it isn't

But.. if the window was a bit open then he couldn't have died from monoxide poisoning right?? Cuz it would just go out. Or am I stupid..

what i don't get is, why nobody heard the Ferrari's engine running this whole time? dude's been gone all. night. long. where has he been? where has the car been? why did he answer his cellphone like that?

as to the carbon monox poision? depends on the person and how much exhaust is entering the cab of the car. also, how much breeze/fresh air was coming in from that window. he would have been sick, woozy, coughing, short of breath, tending to pass in and out of consciousness, puking, then he'd pass out and die. but. before dying, he could have gotten out of the car. remember, Kogoro opened the driver's door easily! it wasn't locked! so even if the guy was dying, he could have opened the door and at least FELL out the door and gotten clear of the cab.

if you get out of carbon monox area quickly enough, your natural respiration of clean air will revive you further. then of course hospital, checking lungs for other toxins from the car exhaust, blood tests, oxygen and other breathing treatments etc.

most folks that off themselves with car exhaust park the vehicle INSIDE a room, like their garage. then they seal the cracks in the doors and windows with towels or duct tape. THEN they turn the car on, sit in its seat or somewhere in the room and they let the whole ROOM fill with exhaust.

most folks who die from carbon monox in their home are in a small and tightly closed room. it is often a gas water heater, gas furnace, gas stove, or kerosine heater... any of those appliances that aren't properly vented outside can cause carbon monox buildup. but the kerosine heater is usually because somebody is heating their bedroom, because they're poor or elderly and can't afford to run their home heater often. they light the kerosine heater, don't vent the room with a few cracked windows... annnd they die in their sleep after the carbon monox builds up inside their bedroom.

well those ARE some very VERY famous car models. plus, if he didn't geek out... well... not a whole LOT of folks in Japan would recognize many of those cars. the Caddy is American, the others are European... so... ;) not alot of 'classic Japanese cars' in that collection hmm? ;)

Ah, that makes mores sense! Thanks!

Also yeah, why didn't he just open the door? He clearly didn't die immediately so there should've been enough time for him to realize he was in a car and to open the door. Unless the poisoning messed him up that badly or something, but he was awake enough to ask Kogoro for help like that.. whatever

I didn't know those were all foreign! I mean idk shit about cars, but that does make sense. That probably shouldn't have been as much of a surprise cuz Conan recognized Gin's exact Porsche model like immediately, they just went a bit more ham this time

mhm they're all rather famous cars 'world wide'. especially that Gull Wing Mercedes. if you remember the Back to the Future movies? the 1981 car they used? Mr. Delorean who designed that car and started the company (that flopped) wanted to make a 'gull wing' car with an all aluminum uni-body with doors just like that Mercedes. ;) since you're not a car geek, a uni-body is a pieced together car body that is almost one, singular, part. it's built elsewhere on it's own assembly line and then just 'inserted' in and around the car frame and attached. it doesn't have quarter panels (like around the four tires) and suchforth. it makes for a smooth, sleek, almost 'organic' looking car where the various curves and lines of the body aren't interrupted by joints and adjoining parts. Tesla even made a single model of one of their electric cars that has gull-wing doors. :) gull-wing doors are actually a good idea, especially for parking on the street and squeezing into parking spaces that are very tight. you don't have to open your drivers' side door into traffic or possibly wham your door into somebody else's car when you open it. :D

when he talked about Gin's car, it was just to say it's a rare classic, and would attract attention because of its design...

Here he is a fanatic

I didn't think Shinichi would be so into cars, but it's good to see him happy. It also does make a bit of sense, his parents are rich, so he's probably been around other rich people who might be into cars too.

What's with the sports cars recently??? 😭

I'm not interested in cars at all but I used to play Outrun 2006 on PlayStation 2 so I recognized that Ferrari Dino instantly 😭
